Lol you're a funny one... The Android community is just as powerful as the Windows community, we pull off the impossible. Case in point, Android on the TouchPad. We've ported Honeycomb which isn't even open source to several phones. We've ported Sense to non-HTC devices (Nexus S, Dell Streak).. Anything can happen. Don't ever doubt the Android community.

read what I quoted, then you will understand why i said that. He said he was going to wait for iOS to be ported to the TouchPad and dual-boot it.

No, Windows will not be ported to the TouchPad. iOS will also never be ported to the TouchPad.

Wouldn't Windows not have to be "ported" to the touchpad? All you would need are the correct drivers and it should install (which could be pretty hard if the hardware is completely proprietary, because they'd have to be written from scratch), since it's just Windows, you can technically "install" it on anything. We will have to wait for an ARM version though.

I think I read somewhere that Windows will only work on tablets designed to run it, kinda like Macs running OSX.

My thoughts exactly. My guess is that Windows tablets will have some mods done to their motherboards, and support UEFI. Also, the Windows tablets are most likely going to be more like mini PC's rather than tablets.

It is possible but is super very incredibly, insanely, hard to do.
