Since Windows 8 is an OS optimized for tablets and computers, is there any way to get that developer preview on the Touchpad? I know you can get linux so far.

I had the same question and currently, there has been the concept but no implementation. Check PreCentral for more information, but I would wait for a ARM build to release, if one is.

Windows isn't open source which is going to make it harder to port. And we need an ARM version.

    No Windows for ARM.

The Windows 8 beta will probably support ARM, but still it won't be ported to the touchpad since it isn't open source.

    That doesn't mean anything.

As of now, no Windows 8 will not be coming to the Touchpad, as there is obviously no publicly released ARM version. Check back in a year.

Well in that case, I'll probably wait for ICS and dual boot that on my Touchpad (assuming development continues)

Er... what? Clearly you dont understand the Android community. It will happen, the groundwork for it is being set as we speak with the Gingerbread CM7 port.

But Windows 8 on the touchpad... yeah, its too early to tell if it can be done.

It won't be done because it's closed source
