I press make it rain, but nothing happens on my iPod Touch 4G. It simply stays on waiting for device. What do I do? Is it because I'm on bootcamp Windows 7? I also tried doing compatibility mode Windows XP and running as Admin, and still no juice.

    What do I do?

Your problem is drivers. Windows 7 can't do anything beyond reading photos from the iPod. Install iTunes (if you haven't done already).

Search for 'Device Manager' in the Search bar, find your iPod, and check what drivers it's using (if any).

I think it's either that the VM doesn't have permission to access the iPod, or that you need to install iTunes.
