I'm currently running the Windows 7 OS. What would be the easiest way to jailbreak the 2.2.1 2G firmware? 3.0? I was looking at QuickFreedom. Is there a better way to do this?

    Redsn0w

    Look on [PIRACY.tb] for it.

Yeah, I have redsn0w. It can't reckongnize my firmware file though. Does the newest redsn0w only do 3.0?

    For 2.2.1
    1G iPod - Use Quickpwn 2.2.5 Link
    2G iPod - Use redsn0w 0.3 Link

    For 3.0
    Both iPods - Use redsn0w 0.8 Link

Just to clear up any confusion for anyone who stumbles onto this thread in the future:

You CANNOT use QuickPwn to jailbreak an iPod Touch 2G. QuickPwn is now defunct.
