    Hi,

Is there a way to get Ipod Touch to work with Win 2k. ?

I have Vista at home and that works fine, but my office pc runs Win 2K, and I would like to sync Calender and Contacts with that pc, but it just ask for a disk with drivers when connecting.

    Device:
    2G iPod touch
windows 2000 might need a compatible mobiledevicesupport.dll file which isnt supported by apple on that operating system for the ipod touch so it is not possible

No. It is not supported. Upgrade your OS or return your Touch.
You absolutely cannot use an iPod touch on Windows 2000.
    Sorry Guys.

How to transfer music to touch on win 2k

I'm currently using the Windows 2000 operating system and after searching for ways to transfer music to my iPod Touch eventually gave up. Being a 'poor guy' I was unable to get myself a Vista or XP operating system CD. I have a jailbroken iPod Touch 1.1.1, and I regularly access it through winscp. Another program I use is iSLSK because i thought it was the only way to download music on my iPod. Then whilst using winscp i realised that by transferring music to the download folder used by iSLSK i could use iSLSK to sync the music to my iPod libary. The music transferred by winscp appears in iSLSK, after a simple sync the music appears. This method of music transfer will work regardless of the operating system that you use.
