    The bar goes up fine, just not the percent.

    Not a big problem, since you still know the progress.

    So I just got it to create a .ispw file and it is restoring now. I will post back. So far its great!

    I hope that we just need to use the file that we originally chose at the beginning and it patched that b/c thats what I had to do.

    No, it didn't work. Maybe I chose the wrong restore file. It said it drops it on the desktop but I didn't see it.

    EDIT: I'm an idiot, ignore me everything is fine... great software.

    i'm at the Custom Firmware part and my ipod has white screen what am i supposed to do? it's my first time

    In itunes hold shift and click restore.

    Go to your desktop and select Custom firmware.ipsw.

    White screen = Good.

    You pressed Start Pre-Jailbreak and then you will get a message to restore to your custom firmware in iTunes. Open iTunes hold down SHIFT and click RESTORE. A window will appear and select Custom Firmware from your desktop and your done.

    Restart your computer and try again. What version of Windows XP are you on?
