Hmm, he's actually porting it? Pretty cool. Hopefully it will work better than blackra1n did for a lot of people.

Same here... IMO blackra1n wasn't that great, pushing one button doesn't give me the joy of doing a ton of crap to actually jailbreak.

Really? I love blackra1n. It has never failed me once. It's given tons of trouble to other people, though.

Gonna have to use it again. Stupid iPhone needed to be restored.

blackra1n could've been done better, installing the APT program after the jailbreak is a terrible idea. (purplera1n might have done this too, IDK) The problem with that is if you have no network (3G, EDGE, WiFi) connection on your iPhod, then you get no APT installer. (To the best of my knowledge)

It would be useless anyway, since you wouldn't be able to install anything without wifi.

but if you can use cyder than you need cydia and you cant get cydia without wifi... so the other person was right, it was a horrible idea.

Ah, right, I forgot about Cyder. Yes, it was a bad idea, but oh well, it's not like geohot cares.

He is a hacker for hire.

EDIT: So this will just bring custom boot logos? Or is it just another jailbreak with custom boot logos? I really doubt it but, will the jailbreak be untethered for 3g and 2g MC users?
