Ok, so I'm really new to this and I was wondering if I had to update to 1.1.2 after I have jailbroken my iPod. I have a 1.1.1 iPod right now and am about to jailbreak it but do I need to update it to 1.1.2 after the jailbreak? What do i not gain if i chose not to update? Thanks guys!

DO NOT update, imo you don't gain anything by updating, it is not worth the trouble.

Some say you get clearer sound. Others say a bit faster system reaction. I am on 1.1.2 now and I don't feel anything different then when I was on 1.1.1

Better stick to 1.1.1 as plg6067 suggested.

Really, there is no need to update at all. You can add events to thew calendar. That is all, and you an get that anyway after jailbreaking 1.1.1 and NOT upgrading.

You may aswell update. Its like if you had like an old bike and a new bike was available for free as long as you'd ride it to your car. If you're willing to take a few minutes to do it, why not?
