I mean, I already know that the 1g isnt very stable, but do you think it will be stable enough to risk even trying? I mean, my 2g is in the mail right now and I have been jailbreaking since 1.1.1 and I miss the stableness of the jailbreakme.com and iLiberty+(for 1.1.4)

I just really love themeing, emulators, and categories and I just wanted to know if there will be an actual stable jailbreak for 2.1.1 2g

    i'm sure it'll be fine, tho it might end up being like 2.0 / 2.0.1 / 2.0.2

The 2.x jailbreaks are some of the most absolutely stable and concrete jailbreaks you'll find. I don't know what the f*** you're on, but dev team is insane and their releases always work perfectly.

Now jailbreakme and ZiPhone, those are highly unstable, but still not even near detrimental to your iPod.

dude chill, and no i completely disagree with you. Pwnage is unstable because you have to have custom firmware, and I spent the most time unf***king my 2.x then I EVER had with a 1.x, I had to restore maybe twice and with 2.x probably 15 times. Absolutely NO disrespect to the dev team, they are the bomb for making this possible.. Jailbreakme.com was a one click jailbreak and so was iLiberty+. Thanks for the comment though, you make me feel good inside.

Pwnage is NOWHERE near unstable. You couldn't get it to work because you don't follow directions. I've gotten it to jailbreak successfully first or second time 12 times on 5 different computers.

Jailbreakme and 1.x jailbreaks (minus pwnage) are the most unstable jailbreaks because they crash the iPod, allowing code to access as root for a small period of time, then they get in and do whatever they want, hence jailbreak.

Cydia is definitely just as stable as any 1.1.x installer program.
