Just read in the frontpage that Apple has released iTunes 10.1 Beta 2 to developers.

Will this thing mess up / disable / brick jailbroken iOS devices with limera1n or greenp0ison?

If anyone here is able to test, please do so. Thanks in advance!

better idea, sit tight and play your iphone/ipod while the dev team and other people test it out.

I dont think it does affect anything. I've already downloaded iTunes 10.1, downloaded the firmware from it, and jailbroke my iPod, so...

But I guess I'm not entirely sure.

    greenpois0n requires 10.0.1 actually.

Most jailbreaks like having the most recent iTunes version.

However, a jailbreak or two a few years back had issues with syncing with new versions of iTunes. This hasn't happened recently, but it could theoretically happen again.

I'd wait a day or two after the new iTunes is released and make sure everyone else is doing OK with it before upgrading.
