I've been wondering of the fact that you will be able to have peer to peer connectivity with iphones and ipod without a wifi connection in the new 3.0 sdk... You think we will finally have the chance to have that bluetooth taste on our ipod touches?

I believe they were using it for the multiplayer thing, because they said something like, "in your car, playing multiplayer games on your iPhone.... and iPod touch... with bluetooth..."

So I know thye must eb unlocking it for that, and somebody asked if they were going to unlock it and they said something about it but I dont remember at this moment, they cut it out of the video.

An Apple rep said that 3.0 has the "capability" to unlock Bluetooth in the "latest iPod Touch" (2nd Gen), so who knows?

Oh, that's bad... I was hoping that the Bluetooth feature for the iPod touch can pair with my cellphone so that pix taken from the phone can be transferred to the touch for even larger and better quality (the touch has no camera, unlike the iPhone)!

Playing multiplayer games without having to use Wi-Fi?
And remember that this semi-unlock will open a whole new bunch of possibilities for the devs.
