Yes, yes it will. Go to bars near Cupertino and you will find a few that will dual boot OSX and iOS .

No. The success of the iPad is first and foremost due to its simplicity. Even small children can use them. Apple isn't gonna complicate the sh*t out of their product when they're completely dominating the market

This would be amazing if they did but I dont think apple will do this. If it ever runs OSX, then it will no longer run iOS without any hacks.

I also think iOS and Mac will eventually merge together. It has already started with Lion. We'll see in the next few years.

No, Apple are awkward and does not listen to anything the customer wants.

Apple is trying to move away from OSX. Unfortunately, it is not their future, but they already know that. Seeing the success of iOS devices shows that people ARE willing to give up file managers, screwing with the filesystem, etc for a simple approach to computing. There will always be the niche group, myself included, that have to control every aspect of their device. Whether it be with the ability to use SDM, iFile, Safari Uploader, Attachment Saver- you get the picture. Apple realizes that for the most part, people just want to type up a paper, play games, listen to music and go online... (yes I realize this a huge huge generalization, but it is true!)

BINGO! Thank you sir, you are absolutely right! From the very beginning, people had assumed that the famed Apple tablet would run a slightly stripped down version of OSX. Little did they know that OSX's days are numbered!

What have you been smoking, and can I have some?

Not going to lie, that's gross. That character is not funny... Why pedophilia is funny on the Internet is beyond me. (I'm not bashing you or insinuating that you condone that in anyway, I am just saying that I do not understand why people post stuff like that on other sites) Then again, I am not a FG fan. Would you care to explain your post that stated if you go to some bars near Apples HQ that you would find iPads dual booting OSX and iOS? I imagine it was a joke, right?

Nice, thanks for the advice. I realize that since the Internet is not censored for most of us, there are going to be things that we don't like/condone out there, but really?

//End of that discussion for me. That debate has a place and time, and it's not here.

Back on topic: I just thought of something, is it even possible to get OSX to work at all with iPads processor? One would need an emu wouldn't they?

Edit: ah I just realized that this is for future iPads... They would have to make a radical change in the chip AND the OS get this to work right? Any devs/people in the know want to chime in for me?

If they ever make a touch screen device that runs OS X, it will be a mac, like a "Mac Touch" or something

    Also guys, chill.
