Okay, I love linux, I dual boot with XP and Ubuntu 8.10, and I have Xubuntu 8.10 on my flash drive. I wanna know if linux will be compatible with the 2g iPod if and when its jailbroken....

It will most likely have to have a SLIGHT tweaking done to it to work with the different processor and new parts in the 2G, but I would assume it would most definitely work after some tweaks.

If the 2G iPod touch gets jailbroken, then it will undoubtedly be capable of running Linux.

As soon as the n72ap gets revers engineered and open iboot is tweaked.
