Title says it all.
It already does. The limera1n exploit is a bootrom exploit, though tethered, pwns applicable devices, for life. If used in conjunction with comex untethered userland exploit, it makes it untethered.
Hopefully the dev team can get pwnage tool to keep it untethered.
Likely, but the 4th Generation devices are more likely too, since there is a A4 jailbreak too.
No. Never. Devs have "a4" on their mind 24 hours.
Seems like iBricked is pissed about it.
The 8GB doesnt though, at all
I have a 4g, so my statement is un-baised, kinda...
But the Userland exploit is only for 4.1. So it won't work unless they find another exploit.
If you recall, the 2nd gen ipod touches used to be tethered. Later on a way was found to extend the tethered exploit into an untethered exploit entirely in bootrom. So there is a chance it can happen, especially now that we have a foot in the door.
