will app store be country specific?

    anyone know? cos like with iTunes i cant register for another countries store without an address in that country right? which means all the music is different. but what about the app store? will i be able to buy the same apps in NZ that say folks in the US can buy?

    Apple announced it saying the devs will love this way to distribute their apps all over the world. So that sounds like available on all countries.

    yea, it would be a horrible move by apple to not allow people to have the apps all across the world

    But you have to think of all the country specific laws... It could become a problem... Especially for some apps.

    f***in' restrictions on violent games? There are some countries out there that don't allow the app until they sign it to be ok.

    I believe that at the wwdc apple said the developers could choose to whom their apps were available

    what about countries which do not have a iTunes store like singapore? We do not have an itunes store, so does that mean we can have app store? or that we just cant have apps that need to be paid for?
