I may have to get rid of my 3G and use my 2G, but will my headphones work? If not, is there a hack for it somewhere?

    thanks in advance

I have been using Motorola S805 A2DP headphones on my ipod touch 2G fine, but when I tried them on my iPhone 2G they connected, but wouldn't play music. They could only be used as a bluetooth phone headset. If you try playing music it just comes out of the speakers when they are paired.

I don't think it will be possible to hack as A2DP technology is contained in the hardware rather than software. If it was possible I'm sure apple would have included it with a software update when it came out.

    Hope this helps
