Will 1.1.4 brick my Ipod?

    Answer is no.
    1.1 -> 1.1.1 didn't brick it.
    1.1.1 -> 1.1.2 didn't brick it.
    1.1.2 -> 1.1.3 didn't brick it.

    x.y.z -> x.y.z+1 is not going to brick it, too.

    There is nothing to brick in an iPod Touch as there are with iPhones, so you cannot brick it. If you can't restore it, you effed up. You can ALWAYS restore it (downgrading is, however, a different story).

    With that said, thread closed to prevent confusion.
