This is a discussion thread for the "Wikipedia App Roundup" story posted on the front page.
Question: Wouldn't Wapedia + ads take up more screen than Wikipedia Mobile + UI? Fullscreen wouldn't be that great if you're still missing a quarter of the screen.
I didn't even know that there was a Wikipedia app in the first place.
I just prefer browsing Wikipedia on Safari, than an actual app. Does the same thing, and more.
Yeah, Wikipedia on Safari is much better IMO.
The ads disappear when you scroll and only pop up occasionally, so it depends
I have been using Wikipanion since 2.0 and don't intend to change. It looks good, has more features than you could possibly need, there are lots of settings in the settings app and there are no ads, even in the free version.
A faultless app, both free and paid.
I use Wikipanion. I tried the Wikipedia Official app once, but it just crashed.
Tried it, didn't like it at all.. Bing seems to interest me a lot more
i just use safari, easier that way
