    You heard correctly.

Wii controls are going to be implemented into each of Zodttd's emulators!

Earlier this month, a bluetooth stack extension was released along with a demo application that took in accelerometer information in and showed the Wiimote in 3D.

When ZodTTD learned that button input was also supported by this stack, he got in contact with the creator, bought a Wiimote, and got a Wii controller working on Mame4iPhone via Bluetooth.

This Bluetooth stack works with ALL devices (except iPT1G)

Zod has said that he plans on also implementing PS3 controller support, when he can get his hands on one.

So for now, we'll be playing with wireless controls.

Only disadvantage is it will drain the battery slightly quicker than an iControlpad with an inbuilt battery. :3

This will be a great alternative to iControlpad for those of us who already own a Wiimote, but even when iControlpad is released, the Wiimote could still be the less pricey option.

    *waits for PS3 controller support*

Kinda cool, I guess, but I don't think I'd be using this at all.

    I can see it now:

Playing Wii tennis, iPod slips out of hands. " Oh crap!"

Now you've got a broken TV and a broken iPod.

So does this mean I can play my SNES emulator via ipod and have my Wiimote as a bluetooth controller rather than having to use the onscreen sh*t controls?

Just realized that this makes the WiiMote control the ipod, not the iPod control the Wii. Whoops.
