Can anyone tell me if they have this app and if it works?
From the reviews, it seemed like it didn't work, but it's been updated and was wondering if anyone has any feedback.

I live in Canada, and have a Touch, and could really benefit from an app that shows me actual wifi networks that are available that I could connect to.

    It's great now.
2.0 brought lots of changes, and autoscan is a good 'un.

    Cool. Thanks for the feedback.
Now, before I make the purchase, one final question...a 2 parter.

Is there a better app you'd recommend, and is there one that actually is able to connect to closed networks (though I'm guessing that's illegal). I mean, I'm just using the internet on their network, not "taking over" their computer or anything like that...

Apple wouldn't let it past them.
There's another one called WiFiFoFum which has a clever Radar thing... but idk if it ACTUALLY works like a radar or not.

Yeah, was looking at that app as well. Looks kind of cool, well, at least cooler than WiFinder, but also don't know how good it is.
Maybe I'll just stick with the known WiFinder...unless anyone else jumps in this thread to provide further feedback...
