wifi wont connect???

    i got a router today and i have full wifi strength but i cant connect to the server in safari
    i called linksys about it. and they told me go to this website with a bunch of numbers and to do something with the wireless security and i have no idea what they are talking about and the guy is indian and i cant understand him most of time.
    can someone please explain to me what to do IN ENGLISH

    1. see if it's working on the computer. If it is, the proceed to the next step.
    2. see if the router is 802.11BG. if it is, proceed to the next step.
    3. go to your router's IP using your computer. [should be 192.(something)] and check that your mac filter didn't filter the iPod.

    If that didn't work, then reformat/restore. =]

    Hey,

    If there is an opton in your router settings (type 192.168.0.1 into your browser) try changing your wireless channel. I changed mine from 6 to 3 and that solved my problem!
