I have an old dlink adsl router without wifi, and a belkin access point connected to it to provide wifi. The setup is up and running and my laptop connects to the internet without trouble.

My question is, I am using 128 bit WEP, and although I generated the 13 hex pairs using a 13 passphrase, I cant remember this passphrase. Going into the access point reveals the 13 hex pairs but not the passphase used. When connecting with the ipod do I have to use the passphrase? Is there a way to get the original passphrase from the 13 hex pairs?

    Thanks in advance.

Just use the 13 hex pairs to connect, this will work with all wifi networks, you dont need to use the passphrase
