Hey everyone my ipod cant pick up my wifi but my laptop can. I was wondering if there was any way to rebroadcast a wifi signal through my laptop to my ipod touch. I have seen alot of guides on how to broadcast wifi if you are connected through an ethernet cable but not if you are just trying to amplify a wifi signal.

PS I am on a brand new Macbook

    Thanks!

The iPod has a wifi receiver that is not as good as your laptop. Try put the iPod closer to the modem or router so it can pick up a better signal.

there is no way to use your laptop as a repeater unless you have 2 wireless cards...
(one for laptop-AP and one to create an adhoc wifi for your ipod) one card can't do this at the same time
