iOS 4.0 Wifi Sync and Restore

    WARNING!

    Using wifisync will not let you restore your device.
    Simpily uninstall it before you restore or it will hang, then reinstall after

    Thought id share the tip, made my heart sync (im punny) when it didnt work

    iPhone 3gs old bootloader 4.0 (pwnagetool) - On windows (made with hackintosh)

    Are they coming out with an update for this hole in there software?

    i dont know, i dont think so, it patches the applemobiledevice process, and thats what the entire app is based on, dont think its patchable

    You will never be able to use wifi sync to restore. Mainly because part of the restore removes all apps off the device, which includes wifi sync, so... yeah don't do that.

    but when you cable in, the wifi sync process does something in itunes and it will hang on restore
