I want to know why my wifi is slow on my iPod Touch.
I have a 3000Kbps connection, my iPod Touch only gets around 800-900Kbps.

    I don't get it ;[

The speed of your wifi has nothing to do with the speed of your Internet, max speed is 54 Mbps with a full signal, however load times will drop as the signal drops as it transfers at a lower speed

I am right next to my router with full signal. If the max is 54 Mbps I should be able to get my full 3 Mbps.

Are you running a computer , gaming console if so that could do it. The day I got my iPod my sis was on the comp and my friend was on my xbox live while downloading halo on his comp from a *******. Which made my iPod run uber slow

Nope. I mean my computer is running but there is nothing on it pulling internet. And I disabled it once already to see if it changed anything.

I changed around the channel in my router settings and got it to go up to 1200 now, so thats a little better but no where near 3000.
