Real sorry if this have been up before, I tried to search, but no luck on that.

So, my problem is the entire Wi-Fi part under settings is grayed out, and it just says "No Wi-Fi".

http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/wifi/wifi-settings-disabled-no-wi-fi-3234-3.html <--- I googled and foud this, doesn't really help tough.

Here's a pic of how it looks ( tough, in my case it's a 2G touch):

So anyone experienced this, any advice?
From what I heard, it's a hardware issue, if this is true it would really suck, considering my iPod is waterdamaged (tough working!), has a cracked screen, is jailbroken AND is out of warranty

Have you rebooted your iPod? I had the same problem last night, and I just went and decided to reboot my iPod and then the problem was gone.

Yes turn it off and turn it back, may I ask what you were doing before this occurred on your iPod?

Have tried to turn it on and off, I'm going to perform a system restore now. Is 3.1.3 jailbroken yet, I'm really not into this nowadays : p

Before i noticed it for the first time I was playing Angry Birds, and I think I had internet connection when I was playing, and when i exited the app out, the internet was gone. At first, it was just looking for available wifi networks, and wouldn't stop spinning. When I rebooted it, thats when the problem first occured

It could be that the Wi-Fi hardware is damaged. People who open their iPod's up see this problem a lot.

    Or just restore.

So I guess it's a hardware issue, the full restore did jack s***. That's the final goodbye to my ipod, unless it in some strange way should automagically decide to fix itself.
