First of all, I don't think this exact case has been discussed before.

I used to be able to get wifi from all around my house. I updated to 3.0 and still was fine.

I then went camping and brought my ipod with me. It stayed sitting with my things for most of the time, and most of the time it was off. When I got home, I had to go into my office (right near the router) to get connection. I can't get and wifi in the next room over.

I tried restarting it, resetting internet settings, restoring it, pretty much everything I can think of, with no luck.

I have not jailbroken it, tinkered with it, or physically damaged it.

Does anyone know whats going on? Is there any way to fix it? Would you recommend bringing it to an Apple store? Thanks in advance.

P.S. It's not the router, there are other family members with iPods and they get wifi throughout the house.

Put it in DFU Mode, and then restore it in iTunes, and see if that fixed the problem.

If it didnt, take it to an Apple Store, you have nothing to lose.
