    hey all.
    here is my problem:
i have a wifi router at home that i can connect my laptop to with no problems.
My ipod touch (1st g) simply won't connect to it!
When i go to settings it says: "No Wi-Fi" and I can't make any changes to turn it on or anything.
In the General->About the Wi-Fi address is N/A.
    So what's wrong???

    any help appreciated

edit: i use a 2.2 (5G77) firmware and it is JB

    Maybe your network is hidden?

i have the same problem - "connection failed" ive tried connecting thro' WifiTrak showing signal strength 20 but no joy ! My BT router connects OK to Apple TV - WiFi and my home network using Time Machine connected thro" ethernet. I can connect to unsecure network at work. a colleage has same problem also, it's as if it wont recognise my passwords
