Wifi Password!

    Ok so i have a router and when i went to select my connection it is locked and im not quite sure what the password is to it. My router and my internet hub are one unit.

    Please help!!

    What is the brand of your router? (Linksys, D-Link, etc.)

    2Wire gateway

    Try typing 192.168.1.1 into your web browser, putting admin as the password, and going to wireless security or something like that. The password should be there.

    ok i found the password but when i type it in it says it cannot join network...

    Try getting closer to the router.

    Its full signal because im right beside the router. Are the passwords case sensitive or something? I dont know what the problem would be

    No, they shouldn't be case sensitive... what type of key is it?

    And for that matter, what type of router (B/G/N/MIMO) is it?

    Put the Modem in a B/G (Mixed) Mode and unprotect it.

    How do i find that info out..sorry i dont know much about these routers. The wep type is HEX if that tells you anything
