With all the tech out there, is there a product that you can have access to wifi all the time? example; your car, stores (some are getting wifi), and the park. Isn't there a adapter that can attach to the ipod touch that can give you a wide range or something you carry in your pocket?

There are specific (home-made) antennas that people build that boost wireless range immensely (I know a friend who does this)..

    It seems complicated though.

It'll be nice if we can have access to wifi all the time. Especially if you can load a GPS in the ipot and connect it to your car and then you can hear the voice navigation. Same as hearing your music. Hopefully someone can invent something like this.

Can it be possible for Apple to have this capibilty? sharing cell phone network with ipot owners and paying a fee per month? or is that me begging too much. I know its only a MP3 player but with all the possibilities the ipot has, maybe it can be done.
