Hey guys.. can having wifi on all the time damage the ipod or weaken the wifi antenna in anyway?

I have it on whilst at school all day and it scrobbles my tracks to last.fm. but if its gonna cause any damage, i'll switch the wifi off

shouldn't "damage" it but it will decrease the battery life but like everything in the world the more you use it the quicker it will wear out ( although that shouldn't happen for a long time )

No, there are no affects of prolonged Wi-Fi use on your iPod touch other than battery drainage.

Nope. But the battery will drain much quicker if it is left on. I wish there was a wifi toggle on the SpringBoard.

BUT iPodTouchMaster05 and BigBoss are developing a brand new BossPrefs which will be accessed through the SpingBoard YAY!

I had an application called WifiToggle on Firmware 1.1.4, but I'm not sure whether a similar application was developed/ported to Firmware 2.0.
