    Hey,

So heres the case, i have my wifi working. Internet works fine with my desktop as well as with laptop.
Now only my iPod Touch 3G is not getting connected. It suddenly stopped working.
Tried removing WEP key and everything.Change the SSID Broadcast name , even tried disabling and changing the key.Still it won't work. The wifi gets detected in iPod and it does prompt for password. Which it accepts fine. But nothing works.

I tried resetting Network Settings, but still the same. WiFi doesn't work.

    Any solution?

The weird thing is my WiFi doesn't catch anything, no IP or anything.

I am happy with 3.1.1 and didn't upgrade to 3.1.2 as push notifications don't work after jailbreak. Now the problem is Apple has stop signing old firmwares so i can't restore it to old firmware can I?
I have my ECID SHSH backed up. Any solution? I don't want 3.1.2
Also without wifi any way i could backup my Cydia Apps?!

    Thanks.

This has happened to me several times and logic fails as to why.

The final jist is that I powered off the modem and router and ipod, and laptop, then waited 20 full minutes, then turned on: the modem, waited five mins, then the router again 5 minutes, then the iPod.

The iPod was then recognized ( after I "forgot this network", then chose new network) .
Worked each time when nothing else would.

The important part was not putting the laptop online until after the iPod. After it is recognized I have not had to do it again unless I restore the iPod.

Try it this way. Hope it helps
