Well for some reason my WiFi / Bluetooth chip stopped working on my iPod Touch 32Gb 3rd Gen. I was going to send it back except hours later I turned it off and on by accident. I turned it on and used blackra1n to get it to turn on fully except it won't sync with iTunes. I immediately do a restore to 3.1.3 so i can send it back and get it replaced.

However when i updated i noticed by custom carrier and percentage by the battery logo were still there. If they turn it on they'll see this and will say my warranty is void. What can I do?

When you restore, don't put on a backup. That should get rid of the custom carrier and percentage. That's what I do.

Thank you! I'll give it a try.

Yea, click "set up as new iPod". Otherwise your custom carrier and battery percentage will still be there.

I would recommend restoring twice just to wipe any and all jailbreak evidence. Even try a DFU restore just to make sure. Always set up as a new iPod.
