Ok so in my house I can usually connect to my neighbors wifi but for some reason today (and other times) it will just hang when I try to connect and eventually say "Could not connect to server" or w/e. Why does it not work sometimes?

When I click the blue arrow to view the details of the connection, all the spots (IP, etc.) are blank. As I say it usually works alright but tonight it wont connect to anything.

    Any ideas?

    Are you on 3.0?
Many touch users using 3.0 are having trouble connecting to the internet. I searched around and found the remedy. Ready?

    Go to settings.
    General Settings.
    Reset.
    Reset Network Settings.
    Accept.

If you use a WEP key to keep your network safe you will have to reimput it, but this SHOULD work. But i'm not claiming that it will deffinitely work. But it worked for me, and I used to only get 1 bar(while sitting next to my router) but now I get 100%.

Routers are cheap pieces of crap. You will have to physically unplug it before you can reconnect to it.

Its not the 3.0 wifi bug, that bug stops the network appearing on the list not stops you from connecting to it.

Use a WEP key to keep your network safe? hmm

Yes, for us who aren't ALWAYS up to date on new technology

Edit: Most people I know can't hack my router.
I'm not inviting you to. But most of my neighbors use WEP keys and the like.
