Is there any way by which I can enable wifi during standby mode?! It usually disconnects and reconnects every time I bring it back from standby mode! Sometimes it doesn't disconnect, sometimes it does! Why is it that way?

    Download Insomnia in Cydia.

    It'll drain your battery, though.

Also: Wi-Fi stays connected when plugged into a power source.
Apple has it turn off automatically to save battery power.

It's better to use an sbsettings addon called KeepAwake.
it doesn't drain your battery as much as insomnia.
