This is an annoying prob I have with my iPod. The Wifi disconnects itself after about 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as I open Settings>WiFi it pops back on. i don't need to select or change anything. As soon as the network list populates it's on.
And there seems no specific cause. i can be in Cydia, App Store, Safari, or IM (Palringo) and it happens. It has happened in the middle of an app download. Or I can be IMing and suddenly no Wifi.
I know it is not my network, as my laptop does not lose it's wifi when the iPod does (so router is still broadcasting). I thought maybe there's an option to auto disconnect after a certain amount of inactivity, but I know of no such settings. I have already reset my network settings. Any ideas??
    Thanks!

How far away are you from your router?

i have noticed this also, i think it must be a firmware bug. maybe apple will address it in a future update.
