Well honestly that is not suppose to happen. I have a crap more stuff on my iPod and I rarely get that problem. Only time I got it is when I have my iPod on for long periods of time.

Maybe you jailbroke you iPod wrong. Not saying you did but that could happen.

It started happening to me after a couple of weeks of me jailbreaking (around 2 months I think), though I had 20+ themes installed, around 70 apps and stuff. I restored, and it's as fast as it used to be (my restore got screwed so it reformatted the iPhone all the way (iTunes does a quick recovery, not all the way) so it was just the way it was out of the box.

    I'd suggest restoring.

    1) plug in your ipod
    2) let itunes open + recognize your ipod
    3) when the summary of your ipod comes up hit the 'restore' button
    4) choose if you want to back your old settings up or not
    5) wait for it to restore
    6) DONE

    hope this helps

yea, i would say just ignore it, IMO it's not a big enough problem to re-jailbreak
