On my iPod Touch 1g 16gb (jailbroken), which i've had since Christmas and used online regularly on it, out of the blue the internet has stopped working. Whenever I try to connect it says "unable to join the network (routername)", I have 2 routers, 1 with password, 1 not, and both of them my iPod fails to connect to. I've tried to solve the problems for 2 weeks. Before this problem, my iPod would show 6 or 7 different connections, now, it rarely shows more than 1 or 2 (my home connections), or sometimes even 0! Please help!

Reseting network settings is a good place to start. Find that under Settings > General > Reset.

If resetting the network stuff and restoring do not work, then your best option is to take it to Apple and see what they say, as I do suspect Hardware Failure, as in that the receiver may be broken.
