ya it works like an emulator. sort of.
ive kind of been lurking around on the forums for a little while now. I have a few "widgets" (more like fake widgets) that run in the Widgets app. The only ones I have running now are only a few that im still testing.

for those of you car fanatics out there, I spliced my ipod-usb cord into a cox switcher box which is connected to the OBDII port on my BMW. So far, i have the variables set to read the E36's ECU only.

So if anyone out there has an OBDII BMW E36, and want a nice little system monitor (reads current oil pressure, oil temp, coolant level, amount of fuel remaining, rpm, speed and current gear (auto tranny only) let me know

I dont really have time to keep up with this project unless there is at least some intrest because im still a full time high school student

    Cheers!

Well if you have sftp what you have to do is download a widget, then use winscp and get into your ipod. Go into the applications folder and look for the widgets app. Open that app and upload the widget into there. BEWARE, some widgets only work with wifi, like weather and stuff like that.
