So Apple rejected the wi-fi sync app that was submitted, and it has now made its way to Cydia.
I costs $9.99 on the Cydia store and currently only works with Mac computers, but the developers has said that a Windows version is coming.

I would get it, when a windows version is released, but something that would make this even better would be allowing it to sync while using your iphone, so you can let it sync in the background while doing something else on the phone

It's actually not that bad and is faster than I expected although a little sluggish. Not really sure what the real advantage of it is though. In my case I usually download some podcasts or whatever and then sync it while at the machine so it's not all that useful.

I think this would really slow the device down an probably cause some issues...
And also, while you're syncing, aren't you at the "Slide to cancel Sync" screen?

I think this could be really handy if I'm in my living room for example and I want to sync some songs or playlists that I haven't added yet... Would be very nice.

Can't wait for a Windows version.

No. It will be slow for me because I have a first generation iPod touch. Unlike you who have the third generation it will be fast. Albeit the jailbreak would make it suffer a little bit but the creator of Wifi sync could make this without using daemon.

Sometimes it has the slider and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you get an error message and have to try it a couple of times to get it to work.
