Hi guys! I'm new, I just got my iPod Touch 2 days ago. I'm from Canada and I'm wondering if there is some kind of service that for a (reasonable) fee you can have Wi-Fi anywhere on the touch. I have seen things like these offered in the UK and Asia but nothing here. Thanks for any help.

Hmmm....I do not know about everywhere. I have DSL and it comes with a router so I use my wi-fi from that. I would actually like to know about wi-fi everywhere as well.

I was just looking on google the other day and found a company that will basically install a router into your car that works kind of like edge i guess. you pay a monthly subscription. this only works in your car, but its probably the closests you can get with the ipod touch. (it'd be great for the aol radio app)

    just google "wifi in car"

^ If you're saying I asked a stupid question, then whatever. I'm not. There is various subscription services like this. One example = Cloud in the UK. Read about it here -> http://www.tuaw.com/2007/09/28/the-cloud-offers-uk-ipod-touch-users-low-cost-wi-fi-access/

To everyone else, thanks for your quick replies. I understand since there is no phone plan, you're not guaranteed internet access except in a hot spot. I guess what I'm looking for is unlimited access to some wide coverage of hotspots, which I don't know exists.
