My Touch is coming any day now and I was just wondering how fast the wi-fi is. Is is comparable to laptop and computer wi-fi? I know it obviously depends on the distance and connection type, but does it stack up to complete computers?

don't know how fast it is on PSP but the Touch is much slower than a laptop or desktop.

buy a song on the mobile itunes and you will really see the speed.... or just dump a big file on through SCP and then pull it back down and you can see the speed in KB/s ... i wasnt really paying attention but i noticed ~600KB/s through scp before

we need mobile firefox on here since safari seems to be slow at rendering pages, the wifi is so much faster than safari displays

Maybe the touch isn't fast enough? CPU speed is limited ...

Are you under the impression the Touch has a hard drive? It's a flash-based device as well.
