Hi, I installed 3.0 yesterday and I'm having some problems with the Wi-Fi.

I have a Wi-Fi on my house which has got a password and it goes really slowly. My neighbor has got a Wi-Fi with no password and it goes perfectly (as with 2.2.1).

What's the problem? I tried reseting Internet Settings but it continues slowly. I need Wi-Fi abroad and I only can get about 10kb if I use my connection, I hope abroad it will work well... I hope

P.S.: Do you think that 10kb/s will work for Skype?

    I need it!!!!!!!!!!
P.S2: I tried to install 2.2.1 again but iTunes says error 20, I don't have time to reinstall it again, I just want to know if there's a solution for the Wi-Fi. Thanks

My Wi-Fi has been extremely slow on my passworded network. Even when I'm two feet away from the router. It's been like this since 3.0. Wait for Apple to address the wifi issues.

I'm guessing they lowered the strength of the Wifi to increase the battery life.

The question I have is this, if you turn of the password(which is encryption) is it faster. There is some sense to an encrypted network appearing slower on a small portable device with less computing power than a dedicated router or a full blown PC.

Same here. Maybe you should restore, and if it gives you that error then do a DFU restore.
