Wi-Fi problem

    I got a new ipod touch and when i connected to a wifi network at starbucks the network name had a checkmark by it, but when i clicked safari it said that no network was found. What do I do?

    IT happens reload the page till it goes away if that doesnt work get closer to starbucks and IF that doesnt work you're screwed

    i was in my car pretty ffar from the connection.. is that my problem?

    yep

    you have to be quite close to the wifi spot for it to connect i have found once connected you can move a bit further away.

    thats only from the experience ive had with mine

    And just a note - wireless service is not free at Starbucks - only access to Apple's iTunes Wireless Store is free... If you're planning on surfing or checking email, need to find a free hotspot elsewhere or pay Starbucks for access.
