    Hello, all!

I'm new here, and have to ask a question that I am sure has been asked already about 7 dozen times.

I just got an iPod Touch for Christmas, and I don't know what "password" it's looking for when I try to connect to a wi-fi connection (2Wire136).

How do I learn what this password is?!

The password for the 2wire is on the sticker on your modem in brackets. I think the Middle #

    Is it your connection?
It's your password, you set it. It is not the iPod's question.
And if you are sure it was asked before, then search it.

Thanks for the quick replies. I knew I came to the right place.

Ok, so I tried the "system password" on my modem but it did not work. Dod I need to be in a wi-fi area for the password to take... or, should it allow me to join anywhere?

What's the "wireless network key" that I see below the system password? Is that anything I need to use?

    Thanks!

I've tried using my own network passwords but they didn't work.

The message that pops up on my screen is: Incorrect password for "2WIRE136"... followed by the "dismiss" button.

The wireless network key should very well be the needed password. if it doesn't work, make sure you're connecting to your connection, and not someone elses.

    Modem's don't have WiFi.
    You need a router.
