    This is my THIRD ipt2g.
    others had various flaws,
this one i got from futureshop in canada.
with my previous ipod touch 2G's WI-FI signal strengths were:

    1. my appartment= was getting 80-85% signal strength
    2. friends= 85-90% strength
    3. other friends= 90%

    now with this ipodtouch 2g...
    the signal strengths are:

    1. 5-10%
    2. 8-10%
    3. 25-30%

Should i EITHER take this ipt2g back to store and get another???

or rejailbreak hoping it solves the problem....

reguardless i'm gonna jalbreak if i had to return this back to store.

any other thoughts you guys might have?

Try different WLAN Channels on your Router. I found out that various devices tend to find other WiFi Channels better then others.

My 2G gets better reception than my 1G did. Maybe your neighbors caught on to your internet trespass and changed channels on you.
