Wi-fi-less file transfer in Ubuntu

    Hey, is there any way to transfer files to and from the iPod - similar to what things like iFunBox and iPhoneBrowser do - on Ubuntu?
    It lets you access the DCIM folder, so i doubt it would be that hard...
    No, I do not have wi-fi.

    I'm sure it would be, at least through software.

    EDIT. Lol, figured it out. You can just simply use iFile to move files to the DCIM folder and change their format to .jpg. This makes them visible in the Ubuntu file browser, and they can be copied and renamed.

    DOMO! Sorry, love the avvy. I've never really tried but neither of the sites have a Linux version.

    Either use Wine + iFunBox or find an SSH client for Linux.

    SSH client is built into Terminal already...

    Well iFunBox doesn't work, and I am pretty sure that neither does iPhoneBrowser.
