Well thats it really, just upgraded to 3.0 and jailbroke using redsn0w 0.7.1 and the Wi-Fi keeps getting disconnected and now it can't 'remember' the WEP key which I keep having to enter manually every time, does anyone have any suggestions?

Forget the network by going Settings > Wi-Fi. tap the arrow on the name of your router. tap forget network. now hold sleep and then slide to turn off. turn it on again, and try reconnecting to the network.

    Or Reset Network settings.
    See if that helps?

Well I'm reconnected again and it seems to be staying but is there anything for the cr*p coverage/signal? It takes about 5 whole minutes installing winterboard and im 5 meters from the router

This is a major problem with 3.0. Many people don't have this problem, but for those not so lucky(like you and I) we have to wait for 3.1 to hopefully fix the problems.
