    Hi,

Here's what i am trying to do, let me know if it's possible:

At work I have two laptops a pc and a mac. I connect to the internet on those laptops using either the wireless (protected) or a regular wired connection.

I want to connect my ipod touch to the internet but since the wireless is protected (we have 2 networks one using leap and one using WEP, but i don't have a password for that) i was wondering if i can somehow create my own network on one of the laptops and connect to that with the ipod touch; something like sharing my laptop's internet connection.

Can this be done, and how?

If you have Airport on your mac, you can go to System Prefs > Sharing > Internet Sharing. In here you will have a couple options. You can either share a wireless network through ethernet cable or a wired connection through Airport. So you would want to click Share from "Ethernet" to computers using "airport"

    Hope this helps
