Why?

    Why cant you install OS X on a PC? Is there some special hardware?

    There are some system requirements for it to work and there are a good number of people on here who are involved in that. Google-Hackintosh

    Wait, why CAN or CAN'T you install? Because you have to do some hacking to bypass the firmware check in order to install Mac OS X on a PC. And then you have to find the drivers so it'll actually start working.

    Apple made their Operating Special by only allowing it to run on their own computers. Unlike Microsoft which lets anyone and everyone use it.

    yea its basically hardware drivers
    and also im not sure on this but it should have to do with the different boot types..pcs use bios..and macs use something else

    Assuming you have a Serial Number. Unless you pirate it.

    EFI: Extensible Firmware Interface. Which they used to replace the old and obsolete BIOS.

    you can add osx to windows... but you need intel duo core processors....
